REPERTORY ETUDESTM WORKSHOPS
INSTRUCTION
These sessions assume no prior knowledge of the Repertory EtudeTM.
COACHING
Coaching is designed to give a deeper kinesthetic understanding of
the Repertory Etude'sTM intention and nuance. The sessions emphasize
different elements depending on skill-level, need, and interest.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
DANCERS WORKING IN EDUCATIONAL SETTINGS
These workshops include a tour of the Institute's materials, Repertory EtudeTM
Instruction and/or Coaching, and discussion about working with school teachers and connecting to curricula and National Dance Standards.
DANCE EDUCATORS, CLASSROOM TEACHERS, AND EDUCATION STUDENTS
These workshops include an introduction to the Institute's materials and focus on ways to connect them to curricula. Repertory EtudeTM
Instruction may also be included.
SCHOLARS
These seminars include an introduction to the Institute's materials, Repertory
EtudeTM instruction, sharing of research projects, and lecture demonstrations
by field experts.
CUSTOM-DESIGNED WORKSHOPS FOR ALL POPULATIONS
These workshops are for people of all ages and skill-levels, and can be custom-designed for any population. They combine movement and improvisation to introduce the Institute's materials. Other elements, such as music, video, theatre, visual art, writing, and curricular links are also included, when applicable.
